How far in advance are reservations available?
Our reservation window extends 45 days in advance, opening each day at 12:00AM CST. Reservations are available on our Resy page.
Do you have a waitlist?
Yes! If you would like to be added to our waitlist for The Bar, please select the 'Notify' button on our Resy page. If you would like to be added to our waitlist for The Dining Room, please e-mail your name, phone number, and preferred reservation date(s) to email@example.com.
How do I make a reservation for 7+ guests in The Bar or 5+ guests in The Dining Room?
Please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org and a member of our team would be happy to help finalize your reservation.
When are seatings offered for your tasting menu experience in The Dining Room?
Seatings are currently available at 6:30PM on Wednesdays or 5:30PM and 8:30PM on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. (Please note: beginning June 16th, Thursdays will transition to a single seating at 6:30PM.) Reservations are available by selecting one of the light blue buttons with the text "THE DINING ROOM" on our Resy page.
Do you have a dress code?
We do not require a dress code in The Bar or The Dining Room. That said, we find that most guests in The Dining Room wear cocktail / business formal attire or, as we often hear it called, "date ready".
What if I'm running late?
Please note that your reservation is scheduled to begin promptly at your seating time, and that arriving late may result in missing part of your experience. If you are running late, please contact the restaurant at (312) 600-5111 or email@example.com.
Where can I find parking?
Moody Tongue does not offer valet parking; using ride share, taxi or public transportation is suggested. If you would prefer to drive, there is free parking on Wabash Avenue and 25th Street immediately outside of the restaurant and there is metered parking on 26th Street.
What is the length of the tasting menu experience in The Dining Room?
The tasting menu experience in The Dining Room is typically two to two and a half hours.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Can dietary restrictions be accommodated?
While our culinary team makes every effort to create thoughtful alternatives for allergies and aversions, some restrictions unfortunately cannot be accommodated. Please send us an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org prior to your reservation date to ensure that we can accommodate your restriction. If your reservation is in The Dining Room, please provide at least one week advance notice.
Is it possible to order a whole 12 Layer German Chocolate Cake to go?
Yes! We offer our 12 Layer German Chocolate Cake for curbside pick-up in two formats: (1) Whole Traditional Cake (i.e. a 10" round cake which is approximately 6" tall, the same as that served in our restaurant) and (2) Whole Sheet Cake (i.e. a 9" x 13" rectangle which is about 4" in height and may be easier for larger groups to share). Both formats are $125.00 plus sales tax. We typically request 7 days advance notice, but on occasion are able to accommodate shorter time frames.
